Is a typical small seaside town in Tuscany's Maremma district, famous for its natural and rugged beauty.

Characterised by its port, coves and its Spanish castle, called "LA ROCCA", the town first became fashionable in the 80s and many personalities from the world of entertainment and sport have taken refuge in Talamone over the years. The sea bed in this area is comparable to any of Tyrrhenian Sea's best known dive spots.

Talamone is practically equidistant to the provincial capital , the area's most characteristic inland towns and its most famous coastal resorts - Saturnia, with its sulphuric spa waters, Sorano and Pitigliano famed for their tufa-brick buildings and numerous wine cellars and the citadel-ports of  Monte Argentario such as Porto Santo Stefano and Porto Ercole, all of which adds to Talamone's already extensive appeal.
