These take place on the residence's own private beach that has been famous in this sport for quite some time as it features in the Italian Championship Cup organised by the Italian Kite Surfing Federation. The warm prevailing winds generated by the particular topography of the bay means that participants can take off even on days when the sea is becalmed.
The place is characterised by: sand, sea as flat as a mill pond that is still only 1.5 meters deep at 300 meters from the shore and winds that gust at between 12-27 knots 5 days a week.
A chance for a wonderful day out on Paolo Fanciulli's fishing boat, the “Sirena” (mermaid), working the nets, lunching on freshly caught fish and calling in on some of the amazing coves that are part of the Maremma Nature Reserve.
